Intern - Digital Marketing

We are looking for a student from Cluj-Napoca with a start-up mindset to uphold and push our brand image to the next level. You will use your game industry passion and digital marketing knowledge to engage in relevant online discussions and develop new exposure opportunities.

This internship as a Junior Digital Marketer in our Growth team will train you to become a full-stack online marketer by completing the tasks and responsibilities listed below:

You will:

  • Work closely with the Growth team to plan and execute different social media and outreach strategies
  • Increase growth and engagement across multiple social media (LinkedIn, Discord, Twitter, Reddit) by scheduling content, writing copy, and monitoring content and channel performance.
  • Scout, identify & reach out to influencers, PR & website admins to acquire brand mentions and backlinks
  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, utilizing segmentation and personalization to drive engagement and conversions
  • Analyze existing backlinks and ensure a healthy backlink profile
  • Optimizing the SEO of our website through SEO audits, keyword strategies, and link-building strategies.
  • Identify target audiences within academic institutions, including professors, researchers, and students, and devise strategies to reach and engage them effectively.

 

Throughout your internship, you will learn :

  • How to craft compelling marketing campaigns, 
  • How to engage with a target audience across various digital platforms. 
  • You will also have the chance to work closely with our experienced Growth team, learning from their expertise and gaining insights into the industry’s best practices.
  • you will acquire a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, techniques, and tools, equipping you with the skills needed to excel in the realm of digital marketing.

 

Some of the tools we use:

  • CRM tools: Hubspot, Intercom
  • Google Marketing Platform: Google Analytics, Google Search Console;
  • B2B marketing: LinkedIn Ads, Customer.io, 
  • Others including, SEMrush, WordPress, Commonroom, Monday.com, Figma.

 

Profile:

  • Great communicator with a passion for games and the games industry
  • Tech-savvy, motivated, with a hunger to learn
  • Basic knowledge of social media best practices across all platforms
  • Adept at creating compelling discussions that keep readers engaged
  • Willing to learn about SEO, especially as it relates to link building
  • Willing to learn more about the game industry
  • Willingness to get familiar with the Machinations framework

The role is hybrid, we are welcoming the candidates to come to our office in Cluj-Napoca.
